Hi! We're the Carlson Toy Library, a registered charity and incorporated society based in Three Kings, Auckland that exists to help children play! Our incredible collection of nearly 1,300 toys keeps play fresh and interesting for kids aged 0 to 8, and parents alike.

Joining is easy
Members can borrow toys from a wide range of high quality brands like Thomas and Friends, Duplo, Disney, Hape, Little Tikes and more. Explore our great collection here and follow us on Facebook to keep up with all of our newest toys.
1. Choose your membership type. We have six different Membership types to meet your needs. Only need toys a few times a year? Our grandparent membership is for you. Want to save money? A fully rostered membership or 6 month trial membership sounds like you. Too busy to volunteer? No worries, non duty memberships are available. Have special needs children? Our special needs membership will keep your little ones happy.
2. Fill out our membership form. You can join today by filling our the form here, or else join by visiting the library and speaking with the librarian in person.
3. Come and play! We're open Friday mornings 9.30am - 12pm and Saturdays 9.30am - 12.30pm. (Note though we are closed on the Saturday of long weekends). Anyone is welcome to come and browse our collection of toys. Members can take a maximum of 6 toys every 2 weeks home to enjoy, with renewals available too.

It's like Christmas every fortnight! It’s basically like having an (almost) free shop where you can just grab whatever you like, play with them and then bring them back and start over.
Save money without compromising on fun. Your children's interests change with age and time. Keep up with those interests without breaking the bank.
It's better for the environment. Purchasing fewer toys reduces waste and plastic into landfill.
You can get all the big toys. When space is a premium in your home you can enjoy the big toys, and then enjoy returning them at the end of two weeks too.
Help your kids learn to share. Help your children understand the concept of sharing by borrowing and returning toys.
